I fail to get a hint to show when the mouse moves over a TmenuItem.
I have verified that:
application.showHint = true;
mainForm.showHint = true;
menuItem.hint = 'some text'
The menuItem is created and edited through the object inspector and belongs
to a mainMenu, which is placed on the mainForm.
Any suggestions?
Tom
I cannot get it to work either, that is showing the hint in as a
tooltip (the standard way if you know what I mean).
However you can use the Application.OnHint wich will be fired whenever
your mouse hovers over the menuitem. Maybe this can help you?
