That is inevitable. For every person you hear "that is a piece of
garbage" from you'll hear the contrary from at least one other person.
Conversely, lots of people will say "I swear by brand X" just to hear
others criticize brand X to death.

The only way you can win is to try it out for yourself, figure out
what you hate about it and decide if you can live with it or not.
