If I run MemProof with my Delphi 7 app, I get a good few live pointersthat maybe references to a string which are pointers.
not released that are caused by long strings. Atanas Stoyanov refers to
these in
http://groups.google.co.nz/group/borland.public.delphi.winapi/browse_...
but doesn't mention how to resolve them. I read another post that
seemed to say that long strings in Delphi are not a problem.
Should I be worrying about these long string live pointers, and if so,
how do I resolve them?
TIA.
i wouldn't worry about it.
i am not so confident of these memory monitors fully.
