Nonsense. This has nothing to do with D6. You could even do it with D2,
if required. The problem is that you are either using the wrong
routine, or providing the wrong parameters. These are API functions,
and Delphi has no problem calling them.

If FileCopy and Erase don't run, then check why they don't. I have used
them often enough, with every version of Delphi since v2, so they
should work.
