Re: Line too long ???



This time I copied everything to the Notepad, made my chages there and saved as a .txt file. The I renamed it .pas and Delphi was happy and it compiled ok. I still need to understand what I should do to prevent this thing..

Do you perhaps have a bad line ending or some other unprintable
character in one of the source code lines? This could be a problem for
the editor or for the compiler.

The remedy is to open the file in notepad and see which line is very
long. That should give you a hint. I open such files in UltraEdit, and
that will adjust any such problems. After that, the file should be fine
again.
