Sure, you can convert to deb, or just run it through rpm2cpio | cpio
-i, but you still need to fiddle the script to get rid of all the rpm
calls.
I don't really understand what the purpose of the script is. Don't
rpm's have postinstall scripts attached?
Or is this another reason why .deb is the superior format? :)
