says that "FORTRAN 95/2003 Explained", by Michael Metcalf, John Reid,
and Malcolm Cohen, will be published in September 2004. Cool. I know
the authors of the Fortran 2003 handbook are hard at work.
The anticipated price of $125 for the 426-page hardback seems steep. I
hope the hardback price will be reduced and/or that the publication of
the paperback (priced at $50) does not lag behind that of the
hardback.
I hope that a Fortran 2003 textbook for new programmers will also be
published.
