I am looking for the solution for statistical application development,
and would like to use Fortran compiler.
The candidates in my mind are;
1. Dell Itanium 2 server
2. HP Alpha
3. Apple Xserv
4. IBM eServer bladeserver
The difficulties for me is to obtain the ground-truth of the
performance comparison.
If anybody who can provide me a benchmark, and/or the testimonies of
the system usage, and anything helps to make a decision.
Thank you in advance.
