I've been using the Intel EM64T (Linux) compiler without problems on
Athlon64 and Opteron processors since November. I remember the date,
since that was when Half Life 2 came out -- which prompted the upgrade
to 64-bit Athlon CPU; which also required a new motherboard; and a new
graphics card; which in turn necessitated a new PSU. Don't buy computer
games Ever.
