There are lots of things -std=F doesn't catch yet.
I was in the middle of providing Andy with a bunch of test
cases and we both get off on something else.

I would guess it not worthwhile to submit a bug until
we get more of these done, but it certainly can't hurt.

character(len=*), parameter :: something= "\\"
character(len=*), parameter :: backslash=something(1:1)

If 'warning 18' pops up, it is not quite right, because '\' is not used
as an escape character, it is just twice a character (there could of
course be an error that '\' is not in the character set of course).
