Could you please suggest me a good book on fortran 90/95 that is available on net in pdf format or any other format?
There are several books available in PDF format at http://www.fortran.com (go to the Fortran Store-- you don't need to register to browse or buy).
Which are "good" depends on what you are looking for, but there is certainly a wide variety, from basic tutorial text with lots of examples (Fortran 95 Using F and Programming in Fortran 90&95), a reference (Key Features of Fortran 95), advanced topics and examples (Array and Pointer Techniques ... and Algortithms and Data Structures).
The price for most is $10 (one is $15). Such a deal!
The Fortran 95 Handbook (mentioned in another msg) is available there in paper format.
As an experiment (marketing 8^), two of the PDF books are available from Lulu (http://www.lulu.com/fortran). This is an interesting site for those interested in books, but there aren't many computer books there yet.
