Hello,
I've ported several projects between Windows and MacOSX. I copy the project to a network storage server, and copy to the desired system.
First, don't try to copy the project file. It contains Windows-specific paths and compiler-specific options. Make a fresh project file after you've got the directory and compiler established on the target system.
Second, when copying the resource file, convert from CR-LF to newline. ISS can supply you with a pair of utilities (one each way) to do this.
Otherwise, _standard_ Fortran and Winteracter calls have worked for me on both systems flawlessly.
I use the Absoft editor on Mac, because the X version of WED doesn't colorize the Fortran source. :-( I'm not using XCode, so I don't have any opinion there. You must have X11R6 and Motif installed, the Winteracter stuff has directions. I'm using MacOSX 10.4.3.
I use Lahey/Fujitsu 5.7 on Win2000, Absoft 9.2 on MacOSX, and Intel 9.2 on Linux. Beyond the OS-specific stuff (paths, compiler options, end-of-lines), I have not had a problem going among any of these systems. I'm making files (.png) of graphs now, not just screen fulls.
If you find an issue, ISS is very helpful.

Hi,
I just ordered Winteracter for the Mac.
How do I start getting the tools and the know how to port my CVF/Winteracter optical design program to g95/Winteracter for the Mac. I have an iMac G4 800 MHz with 1 GB of SDRAM, 48 GB free on one drive and 74 GB free on the other. Running OSX 10.3.9.
How do I get g95 and assorted other free tools to use it? I am porting a CVF/Winteracter optical design program from Windows to the Mac.
I have never developed on the Mac before. HELP !
Only want to develop for OSX.
