At fortran.com, free new versions of the
FortranTools are available using the new F
compiler based on g95. There are Linux and
Windows versions.
The Tools include Photron 3.0.0, lots of other
software, and three books in PDF format. Because
of the size of some files (e.g., Cygwin), you
have to download some other files that are free.
Please let your academic friends know there is a
free package that may have almost everything they
need for some instruction in Fortran.
Regular versions of the Fortran Tools using the
full Fortran 95 compiler are available from the
Fortran Store at fortran.com.
