Urgh - as if our list of product SKUs wasn't long enough already...
It's an interesting idea - does any other commercial vendor do this?

I recall seeing Absoft multiplatform bundles. The appearance was that
they would give you credit for having a copy of their IDE on the other
platform and just charge for the compiler. Multiplatform meant Mac and
WinTel. They wanted extra to cross grade from MacOs to MacOsX which
seemed to reflect the fact that it was a big change in operating
system.
If the frontends are the same then why should one have to pay twice?
In this case one expects that the only things that differ are the
portion of the runtime packages that are operating system dependent.
And the interface of the compiler with the operating system.
The Language Reference manual for Windows and for MaxOsX sure look
a lot alike. Is its development being costed out twice?
