Go read my post again. You have the sequence wrong.
The sequence was
(1) Correct the spelling of Fortran. If someone spells your
name as Lindull would you not correct her?
(2) Point OP to www.fortran.com to follow numerous links.
(3) Provide my opinion that restricting oneself to a 30 year
old standard is probably not a good thing. The OP mentioned
that he couldn't afford NAG. My opinion included the information
that several Fortran 95 compilers are available for free.
Some may find that information valuable. Are you upset that
I failed to mention the non-free Pathscale product?

Of course, the advice you provided to OP is priceless.

My posting was intended for you and other folks who deliver the two
rudenesses, not the OP.

I completely missed your bloodless coupe to seize control
of c.l.f as it hall monitor. Should we send our posts to
Greg "Ms. Manners" Lindull for approval in the future?
