(I was hoping for practice not theory).

Not to speak of the fact that conclusions based on a shallow analogy
from a media source don't come up to the level of "theory". Closer to
hypothesis, but perhaps better described as speculation from
insufficient data - in this case pretty much no data at all.

Now, now; I'm sure they read only the finest of entrails ...
