If you convert the $1K into fully costed person-days and ask about the

By the end of the week you will be ahead! In some places it only has
to arrive on Wednesday. This ignores the issue of all the fuss needed
to get the payment authorized. But then there are lots of environments
where the paperwork is the major hurdle.

There are places where it's *not*? :o)

What does .gov stand for in your email address? Or do I need to ask? ;-) ;-)

Hi,
I appreciate all the abolve replies. It has been pretty helpful. My
current situation is that I am in a university and therefore I can
purchase the software as part of my start-up package at academic
price. Therefore I would ask for some advice about the programming
software I may want to have. I know that there are some free and
popular programming languages on the market and I plan to learn but
haven't really done it. I think I have a question which seems out of
scope of this forum but would try to ask. For some people use C++, do
I need to purchase the C++ compiler from Intel or it is included in
the MS Visual Studio 2005 professional?
Thanks!
