What are the reasons for the error messages? Thanks!

es "greater than" sein will.

Und was
waeren sie?

Sorry for my bad wording of "obvious reasons". People react sensible
on it I guess. It is not quiote coprrect that I never had to deal with
Fortran in practise. It is even this I took some Fortran 90 classes at
the univbersity. But honestly speaking: I saw never any value in using
Fortran in my personal projects. I use Fortran code mainly as it is
(that means: steering Fortran compiled code from my preferred
languages). I am in the process of writing a proposal for a post-doc
fellowship. And the gist of my project will be to use a Fortran
program. Okay, at this time the program can be compiled but it is at
the same time another example of bad coding style (it was written in
1995 and consists of more than 2000 lines of code without any
subprograms or functions and a lot of go-to).

I use Bigloo compiler nowadays for all my propjects. Surely, I am
quite sure in a couple of years all my code will be broken even for
Bigloo not to speak for Scheme even (Scheme world is even more
dependent on specific compilers than Fortran).

I am getting upset over Fortran because I cannot understand that
people are using go-to constructs even in the year of 1995. Okay, it
is not the fault of Fortran.

Btw: Your German wording is very good.
