As already mentioned, your ISP can probably do a better job. I use, for instance, new.verizon.net directly from Outlook Express (and have done for years with various ISPs, changing them as I move around).
AT&T will be something like:
news.dallas.sbcglobal.net
I vastly prefer the netscape news group reader. Very easy to sort any way you want.
