For the uninitiated, can you give a little background onhttp://slickorslack.com?

A code version of http://kittenwar.com (or a side-by-side version of
http://hotornot.com) to compare code snippets and sort according to
wisdom
of the crowds.

It was born from my comment on http://chadfowler.com/2008/3/27/great-ruby-code
but the comments have unfortunately since been removed due to a SPAM
attack.

The idea was spawned after a workshop entitled "Design Sense: Can We
Teach
Deep Design Skill With Perceptual Examples?" by Michael Feathers and
Emmanuel Gaillot conducted at Agile 2007 -- see http://is.gd/nMZ

During the workshop, we were shown ~120 code snippets (fit on one
page) and
asked to rate each on a scale of 1 to 10, working with a partner. The
snippets
spanned at least 20 computer languages and at least three different
written
languages. Afterwards, we discussed the highs, lows, the
controversial ones, etc.
It was exhausting, but quite fun.
