warning on running image !!!!!

Hi everybody
I have written a code and it runs succssesfully until I increase the
number of x and y in a loop.
Compaq visual Fortran returns this warning :
warning LNK4084 : total image size 375472128 exceeds
max( 268435456 ) ;image may not run.

An interesting thing is after decreasing the number of points, it
shows me above warning again and doesn't remove it !

can anybody say me more about this type of warnings ? and Is the only
way decreasing the number of points ?
