No, I'm making the simple point that
the more general kind mechanism, rather than the simpler
"*N" notation, has the _possibility_ of treating
future hardware. As you say, suit yourself.
And quibble about history as you will.

That is, future kinds will involve more than
a one-dimensional space (size) to be searched.
