Recommend that the title be changed to capitalize only the first letter of the name FORTRAN. Just a nit but since the word "forum" is lower cased, it could be argued that it isn't being done as a common practice of upper casing the title. It would appear to be perpetuating the former obsolescent practice of upper casing the name. I very much like the improved, slick cover versus the prior one. I think we can still do better (e.g. full color). You could produce a very appealing magazine-quality document on a home computer nowadays for next to nothing. I suppose there is an ACM template of some sort being followed (I hope it has little relationship to APA format which is about as obsolete as you can get).
What is the Fortran forum?
A magazine published by the Association of Computing Machinery.
I noticed that clf's Arjen Markus contributes this time. I wish I had I
had the means to buy every fortran tool I wanted, but alas, I was only
middle class before Bush II.
My starting salary was 21600 in 1981. I thought I was rich.
