To check this properly means looking through Annex D for any constraint
that might apply, just in case there is one. As I can't guess where
one might be, that would probably need a scan for all of them that
used the word 'argument'. For example, here is a draft of a constraint
that would require this case to be diagnosed:
C??? A dummy argument of a procedure that is called with an explicit
interface shall not be defined if the associated actual argument is
not definable.
I don't think that there is any such constraint!
Agreed. And apologies for not taking the word "constraint" in your
earlier mail as literal as I should have.
