GC Preview file reloading

I am using GC Preview to examine the gerbers I generate from Eagle. But
when I make a change to the gerbers and reload them into GC Preview the
software keeps changing the color of the layers. Is there a way to
reload and then restore the colors automatically? Does GC Preview have
a scripting capability, for example?
