I'm surprised nobody has mentioned "How To Write Unmaintainable Code" at
http://mindprod.com/unmain.html - study it, particularly the Naming,
Documentation, and Program Design sections. Your project will then
reflect actual programming practices, rather than esoteric academic
strictures.
