The appnote is chip-neutral. There are 3 versions of programming code for
different groups of H8 family chips (the real difference is Flash technology
used). AFAIK, 3664 is the only one prohibiting the use of RTS inside pgm
routines.
So far I have been using user mode programming on 2329 and 3048.
