I agree with Peter, I have all those skills (maybe a little light on
SCSI, but I do know how to read). However, I am a permanent contractor
- I have no desire to be an employee and I am centered in the Silicon
Valley area with no desire to leave NoCal for any long duration.
I think it is a pretty poor hiring requirement. When I was a manager
type I wanted a good programmer with some experience in the area of
the project. For instance in this case a java programmer would not
fit, but any good device driver type guy from any system and with C
and a little assembly experience should do.
