Leapster L-MAX or VSmile

Does anyone have any idea what insides of the leapser l-max learning
guide or VSmile consist of?
their websites say they've got a touch screen and a VGA out, thats
pretty exciting for 99 bucks (soon to be cheapo clearence!).
Any idea about the CPU OS memory etc?
Can the touch screen be ripped out for use on a different board?
