Hello Paul,
I would have thought that Anaesthesia Ventillators and Vaporisers would be a reasonable volume production. I know that it can be hard knowing what equipment is programmed with what language. Anyway, you have now heard of such equipment being programmed in Forth.
Which manufacturer is that? You are right, that stuff is pretty mainstream and usually sold in volume.
I just wonder how you find enough engineers who still speak Forth and how you get Forth software through the agency approvals. I remember that we had to code in Fortran when in college. On punch card machines no less. It's all gone by now, I wouldn't have a clue how to write anything in Fortran without brushing up on it.
