Statemate Synch-Asynch Models & CG

Hello All,
Has anyone worked with the Statemate Code Generator?

I want to do a comparison between the synchronous & asynchronous models
designed using Statemate, based on the quality of the generated code.

In general, can anyone say what is better way of modelling, synchronous
or asynchronous models?
