Special Issue of Journal of Systems Architecture, Elsevier
Embedded Cryptographic Hardware
CALL FOR PAPERS -- http://www.isebis.eng.uerj.br/JSA-SI.htm

The need for fast and secure cryptographic systems grows bigger every
day. Therefore, dedicated hardware for cryptography is becoming a key
issue for designers. On the other hand, with the spread of
reconfigurable hardware such as FPGAs, hardware implementations of
cryptographic algorithms become cost-effective.

The focus of this special issue is on all aspects of cryptographic
hardware and embedded systems. Of special interest are contributions
that describe new efficient and secure hardware implementations for
existing or new cryptographic methods. Papers are solicited for a
special issue of Journal of Systems Architecture published by Elsevier
devoted to Embedded Cryptographic Hardware.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
* Computer architectures for public-key cryptosystems
* Computer architecture for secret-key cryptosystems
* Efficient cryptographic algorithms for embedded processors
* Reconfigurable computing in cryptography
* Cryptographic processors and co-processors
* Cryptography in wireless applications
* Smart card architectures
* Compression algorithms for smart cards
* Special-purpose hardware for cryptanalysis

The length of each contribution is limited to 12 pages using LaTeX
together with these style files. Papers may only be submitted
electronically (PDF) to the guest editors at nadia@xxxxxxxxxxxx

Time schedule:
* Paper submission: April 30th, 2006
* Notification of acceptance: July 30th, 2006.
* Camera-ready: September 30th, 2006
