Hi,
I can write assembly, however i have limited knowledge on C / C++.
Is a high level of knowledge in this langauge necessary to program
microcontrollers ??
Or can you just use more "simple" commands ?

For personal projects you can use assembly if you want. If you're looking
for employment in the sector then C is a must and C++ is definitely a plus.

Besides, C is pretty easy to learn (but hard to master) and much more
readable than assembler.
