I never said they werent possible.

No I didnt! READ what I say before answering.

applications can be done in C in 1k,
2k, 4k
implying that it is not viable.

Never said that either, once again READ whats been said.

Now you have admitted that Triac Drive is a viable application to do
in C and that it fits in 1 kB
so we are done with that.

Not so, YOU said it could fit in 1k, however fireing a single triac is
so simple it borders on "mickey mouse" program.

==> Can't post customer code,
I dont want the code, I want the functionality of the application so a
real comparison can be made.

but here are the latest result.
It is actually a lot better than I remember.

  13 bytes in segment ABSOLUTE
 330 bytes in segment CODE
   2 bytes in segment INTVEC
  10 bytes in segment REGVAR_AN

208 bytes of CODE memory (+ 124 bytes shared)
0 bytes of DATA memory (+  23 bytes shared)

The code will check for 50/60 Hz and allow the user to determine
time for rampup, using DDS to get smooth start.

==> It is therefore time for you to prove your claim that you can to 5-10 x
better.
Can you do a simplest possible Triac drive in assembler in 33-66
bytes
including initialization of all peripherals., I.E: the complete job,
instead of bla, bla , bla etc...

Once more POST a specification!
