Perhaps. It is never a good idea to think that you an get away with an
inferior programmer by providing a 'better' programming language.

Rewriting the startups is definitely not the best use for the good
programmer.

ISTM that when relevant details about costs and benefits
of an embedded project are not known, it is not possible to make
statements like this whether it is worth the effort or not.
IMHO in the embedded world there is no such things as one size fits all.
