is fine - except the damned tubes with small quantities of SOIC or exotic
case of power SMD. Some of the tubes contain only a few pieces what would
be possible to put them into SMD containers but if we like to use them in
feeders we have to put them back in the tube with the danger of bend wings.
Our pick-n-place guys HATE anything that's not T&R. Hence if it's not
on tape, we fit it by hand, period.
At home however I have to organize tubes of ICs, mostly in small
quantity. I keep them vertically in a bin, with a tag attached to the
end of each.
