Best solution for CAN monitor?

Hi, we are looking for a simple and robust solution for monitoring
traffic on a CAN bus and for sending out CAN messages. We noted the
prices of the Vector tools CANalyser and wonder if there is a more
economical alternative. Any hints, experiences or suggestions? Tia,
Joerg
