Make your mind up. C and C++ and two completely different mindsets.

C and C++ _should_be_ different mindsets, but it often doesn't work
that way in practice. How many "C++" projects have you seen that
don't use the OO paradigm at all, merely C++'s additional syntactic
fluff? In extreme cases you have "C++ programmers" (usually on
Windows) who have never even heard of C, but that's exactly what
they are writing.
