Advice on Actel Silicon Sculptor II/III

Hello,
I have an opportunity to buy an Actel Silicon Sculptor II and III. These are made by BP-Micro. Is it possible to use BPwin with these programmers, and use them as general purpose programmers, or must they be used with Actel-only software to program actel devices?
