Oddly only Microchip has full source code for free, and you can get it
for the PIC18 or PIC24. Of course it will only work with their
specific RF chip and MCUs but that's quite understandable.

But understanding the code is another matter. ZigBee is more complex
than you might guess.


Unless you actually need ZigBee interoperability, look at their MiWi stack
as a lighter weight alternative.
