It is time to upgrade my Fedora cross-development host machine.

Is Ubuntu suitable for use as a cross-development host, or should I
stick with Fedora?
Any other recommendations?
My preferences are towards using Fedora as opposed to Ubuntu.
I find that Ubuntu is a bit of a pain as it's default is not to
install the development kit.
Of course I've had a few more years with Fedora than Ubuntu.
Ubuntu is on my laptop and I've using it to develop AVR code
(Mega128 and the AVR32 at the moment). The rest is on the
Fedora (FC 6).
