in a commercial infrastructure library, a few years ago, I dedicated
2500 C++ lines and over a month to designing and coding an iterator
class that proceeded to be the main API.
I take it, according to your dogma, all this effort did not exist?
Has it ever occurred to you that what you call "analysis" may simply be
yesteryear's implementation?
