I'm just looking at an internal job vacancy at my company and
thinking of applying. It is about introducing CMMI level 2 to
a multi-team "Solutions Delivery" group. But a slight doubt is
gnawing away at me. Is CMMI a tedious pile of standardisation
mush that most people ignore? And are the people who take it
seriously the pen-pushers who prefer to cover their butts with
mountains of process conformance checklists instead of actually
producing something?
Just a thought ... any comments?
