Recommend a Conference for 2005

Hi,

I'd like to attend a conference in 2005, but I am not sure which one to pick.

I assume, that my boss would allow me to go only to the job related
conferences. It is unlikely that my boss would allow me to visit some
of the interesting conferences in Europe, unless I pick up some of the
costs.

My responsibilities include design and implementation of
the database based GUI application in .NET. I am not responsible for
the database design.

I enjoy the following topics outside of my primary job responsibilities:
- AI
- Smalltalk
- Ruby
- Objective-C (new thing for me)
