"use case realization" - who invented this ?

Who invented the term "use case realization" ? Was this from Jacobson and
then became a RUP term, and not an official UML term ?
Any thoughts (or links to articles) on whether use-case realization is a
"good thing" because it provides the link between use cases and OO models, or
whether it's a "bogus concept" involving too much modelling ?
