I am not very clear with the following terms in development cycle, but
here's my attempts.
The typical SLDC is classified as: analysis, design, coding, testing
1) business requirements analysis:
Phase: analysis
Duties: Focus on WHAT.
Communicates with the customers to understand
the business rules and funcational requirements, and produce the
business
requirement documentation.
2) technical requirements analysis:
Phase: analysis
Duties: Focus on WHAT.
Based on the business requirements documentation,
produce the technical requirements documentation with more technical
details. For example,
how the user interface should look like, the social security number
format, etc...
3) system analysis:
Phase: analysis
Duties: Focus on WHAT.
same as technical requirements analysis ??
4) Object-Oriented analysis (OOA):
Phase: analysis
Duties: confused ??
5) Object-Oriented design (OOD):
Phase: Design
Duties: Focus on HOW.
How to model the system to meet the requirements:
algorithms, data structures, etc...
please comment and advise.
Thanks!!
