Sorry Daniel, but that's a pretty transparent bait-and-switch. John
answered Frebe's challenge perfectly well. Frebe did not ask for a
query language that had succeeded in the market, he only asked for an
existence case. Versant is only one such case. ObjectStore and
GemStone are others.
There can be little doubt that Relational Databases have captured the
market. There can also be little doubt that market leaders are not
the sole options.
