Re: UML metamodel

Responding to Santiago...

I dont know if this is the apropiate channel but sure you can help me in some way :)

There are a couple of Yahoo groups that might be more appropriate: [unmlforum] and [mda-discussion]. Not too many people here do a lot of UML modeling.

Where I can find a DTD or XML scheme for UML 2.0?

(I'm pretty nebie on MOF and UML metamodels)
I'm interesting to read/write class diagrams from a XMI file (generated with Poseidon). I suposse I am right that I need to know how the elements are formed. I found the DTD for UML 1.1 but was looking for UML 2.0.

Alas, I don't do a lot with either XML or XMI, so I can't help here, other than the obvious advice to browse the OMG site. (Unfortunately much of this is new and one need OMG membership to get at the work-in-progress stuff, which the v2.0 DTD mat still be.)

That should be: a bad english speller. B-)) Welcom to the club.

************* There is nothing wrong with me that could not be cured by a capful of Drano.
