Careless mathematics is a belief system. Mathematics is a system of
logic with no underpinning belief. Some people might believe in
mathematics as something more than a system of logic; but that's just
another form of religion. In the end, Mathematics itself tells us
that it is either incomplete, inconsistent, or both.

Beliefs are not empirical observations. Beliefs are, uh, beliefs.
They are things we hold to be true for "some" reason.

got not only plays dice, the dice have no spots.
