Appendix B is a paper with a title something like "The Economics of
Pair Programming". (I'm at a client right now and don't have access
to the book.) This paper is based on her research into pair
programming, and references it. I read this paper several months ago,
and as I recall it addresses the "no loss of productivity" issue.
